From 24 May to 3 June the Emerging Writers’ Festival is on in Melbourne. The full program has just been released. It consists of workshops, panels, performances, networking events and the always stimulating Town Hall writers’ conference over the weekend of 26 and 27 May.
Please come along to the Late Night Book Club session on short stories hosted by yours truly on Wednesday 30 May!

It certainly is not an emerging writers’ festival…the names have scared me off…maybe after a few more novels I’ll dare to show my face.
Oh no, Cornelia, don’t be scared! I’ve been going along for a few years and it definitely is a festival for emerging writers. Every panel has a writer who has never spoken at a festival before. And you always learn something valuable. It’s a very friendly festival, you won’t regret coming along!
