Online writing at Offset Fest

Just a quick missive, I’ll post another author interview in the coming days…

The Offset Creative Arts Festival is coming up in Melbourne, and I’m on a panel about online writing. The details are below and places are limited so email john.weldon@vu.edu.au to book. It’s free.

Write Online
Sat 20 Oct, 10am to 11:30am
Footscray Community Arts Centre

Should you do it? And if so, how? Blogs, Facebook, Twitter? What does it mean to be an online writer and how can it help your career? This is a session for the beginner and for those already well on their way to making online writing their career. Panellists: Lisa Dempster (Director of the Melbourne Writers Festival) Angela Meyer (blogger, writer, reviewer, aesthete) Jacinda Woodhead (writer, Deputy Editor of Overland) and Karen Andrews (author, publisher, blogger). Host: John Weldon (novelist, coordinator of Meanland)

See some of you there!
