The Sydney Writers’ Centre has created the Best Australian Blogs competition. Here’s the blurb:
‘You might be blogging to keep you focused on your writing dreams, or perhaps you’re blogging to promote your business. You might hope your blog will lead to a book deal or maybe it’s just a way to share your life and connect with others. Whatever your reason to blog, we want to celebrate all the wonderful writing that is happening in the blogosphere. You can enter your own blog or nominate someone else’s blog.’
They have asked me to judge the wordy/booky/literary blog section. The writers’ centre will whittle down the entrants and I will judge a list of finalists. Fun times!
To enter your own blog or nominate a blog, simply fill in the short form here by 15 April 2011.
The overall winning blog will receive $1500 worth of online or face-to-face courses from the Sydney Writers’ Centre and will be featured on their website, blog and newsletter as the best blog of 2011. There are up to $7500 worth of prizes in total.
